RISE ABOVE Destroyed in a heap of vile No way to shake the demons Disgraced beyond belief A feeling of nothingness Confused, scared, afraid, alone That’s the fear inside Beat all hate within Because inner fear is your worst enemy Like the sands of time You must learn to move Don’t be silent and still Like a ship in the desert Negativity never helped anyone Positively helped all overcome Darkness will fall upon you If you fail to rise above |
