~ By Sue ~ My little Benji disappeared He never did come back home I have had him since he was born Now he is out there all alone I looked and looked for him Going up and down the streets Even called out his name Now he will not get his treets My heart is aching so much now To think he is out there all alone How am I going to sleep tonight Without my little dog at home 2-1-03 |

Oh Sue, this is so sad. As I was reading this, I was thinking about my little dog, Scooter. I've had him since he was born, too....well, Gary's Dad and step-mom had his mama and I got him as soon as he could leave his mama. I don't know what I would do if something happened to my little Scooter. I sure do hope that you find your dog.   "Love makes the world go around" |

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Sue, my heart goes out to you, my prayers are out that you find your Benji nsoon, i know these tears because my kittys when I was a little boy were lost too! (sad sigh) I send angel hugs of hope and comfort your way, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing! Nice poem, just one thing the third line of stanza three "to think he is out there all alone" distorts the rhytm a little, if you could maybe find a way of cutting the syllable count down a little the poem will have a very nice rhythm to it that shall add to the emotions of being frantic and worried |
