~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ With all the trials of life and seeming to have my share Some hurt so very badly for deeply, I always love and care Now, my Love is the happiest part of my life so him I like to write about And of the love the two of us share we both want to sing and shout He gives to me his heart without any reservation And we give to each other freely our love and dedication We have our many dreams of which we love to talk Of how down this path of life hand in hand we'll walk We reveal our inner beings in words of poetry or letter But showing our love in our actions we always do much better This love we have is so strong it seems like a bright shining light We want the world to see it so on these pages I write I hope you don't get tired of reading my poems of my True Love and me For he's the happiest part of my life and we want the world to see ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |

Ethel, Of course not. So good to know this kind of love can still happen at any age. I even know two of whom are in their mid-to late seventies madly in love with one another....It is always a joy to see and know of other's love. Enjoyed and God's blessing to you both. As the old cliche goes 'If you've got it, flaunt it' lol, but seriously, when you have anything that touches your heart as deeply as this does yours, shout it from the rooftops!  (smiles) I think it is impossible to not talk about love when it is the sinew of all living things and God and creation, and that is the one cliche I would support! Alyssa, I sure am glad that some of you don't get tired of reading the poems I write about my Love, because I sure do love to write them about him.
