Naval Base Signal Tower (Peart Harbor) It was the morning of December 07, 1941 and the attack on Pearl Harbor had only just begun. From their vantage point at over one hundred feet high signalmen and controllers watched in fear and amazement as Japanese fighters and bombers filled Pearl Harbor's sky. Twenty five men stationed high in the Naval Base Signal Tower survived to tell incredible stories of some of America's worst hours. JamesLee January28 2003 The red and white checkered tower serves as the control station for ship and submarine movements in Pearl Harbor. Twenty five men stationed in the tower during the Dec. 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor survived to tell their story. |

it reminds me so much of September 11th... so heartbreaking but praise be to God for all who survived. Always, Alyssa - And so it was that time stood still - |

Would that we learn from our past experiences... The future could be so much brighter... Thank you for the reminder, JM... ![]() |
