This is it everyone, I've lost what edge I had, this is the LAST of the pieces I shall submit, and though it is the end for me, I hope in some way, I've touched someone here. So, w/out further adue, here is:

~Loss of Inspiration~
If love is compassion,
And passion through poetry is true,
And to be true to all those poetic feelings,
Truly knowing,
How all the words be flowing,
From inspiration unduanted,
But now,
For me,
The light fades,
Leaving me in a,
Loss of Inspiration,
To never write of love again,
For the blood of deep emotion,
Has dried to my skin,
Callasing my soul,
Thus I shall fade,
No dramatic flare,
No sweet kiss and tender hug,
Only the goodbye's to share,
For I've lost the feelings,
Emotions and disires that spun words 'round,
For I am now within the,
Loss of Inspiration.

Goodbye everyone.

Well I do hope it is not a goodbye forever.
Me too lost my inspiration....but it will come back for sure...think yours are still with you.

Joel you haven't been here long enough to turn around and leave us... post when you have something to say..read and you will be inspired by some of us...that's what I do..I read and read, respond and get inspired.
I don't live my poems as I would like to believe I could...but there is some truth in each one..
join us...and you will find plenty to write about...

my feelings concur with nakedthoughts,
a poet is a poet,
though for awhile you may not be able to savvy and lace your words, you can still stay and read along, ready for the time your pen flights to the paper

you can't leave for good...you will find inspiration here if you stick around...it comes and goes...cycles, my friend...it's writer's block, it will pass.

Our muses never abandon us. They just like to be mischievous and take long holidays at places out of our reach...

I understand where you are coming from. having been there myself, i suspect that your loss of inspiration is a passing phase. Come back when you feel able to write, all right?
