I am leaving the past
the things that hurt
I am headed to the light
Where one day
My days will once more
Be bright again

I am leaving the past
And the people that have hurt me
To make new friends
And be happy once more

I am leaving the past
I am moving on to the future
That I hope will be brighter
Than the days of the past

Cold hands means a warm heart
