Why pluck the fruit for chance of sacred sac If bone and mortar more than stay the hook The muse has whisked the mortal from attack From face that froze the blood without a look That time began before the tree had rot And time shall end with every tree ablaze Why to the course of cutting kindling caught My muse stands strong upon my sinful days Though armies draft my veins to course for them As I the one who holds the trigger tense Once kissed of bullet saved by muses whim He does not shift for lack of recompense If shields shall stay the serpents severed wrath It’s Faith who cups the fruit to make the path |

Walt, I love the way you write. I wish you would come around more often and let us see your poetry....... "Love makes the world go around" |

I'm not sure I got all that. It's probably something I have to read again later, and try to comprehend. But the portions that made sense were really stirring. "I don't need to scream for you to deem me aggravation." |

Wayout, In a very simplistic Freudian overview,I'd have to say the author almost had his "fruit" shot off! If that's the case, (which I sincerely doubt) that's one big loss for the Vienna Boys' Choir, but hey, he can still sing bass. Thoroughly enjoyed. Doc |

The real question is why NOT pluck the fruit when it matures into an awesome delicacy such as this? I likes...I likes...! |
