Lady of the Sea

the great sea awaits
and you my love asleep
long has your slumber been
so gently soon to re-awake

together on the rising
the wind to fill your sails
the waves to fly us on
my lady my lady of the sea

together we shall go
lovers of the dawn
worshipers of the sun
companions ever on

My Lady My Lady of the Sea.

I'm there!!!
Setting sail...

Waft every crest upon your destined sea
Embrace the Wave of Serendipity
Lest its elusive arcane ecstasy
Refurl with sail for all eternity

Lovers of the dawn...

This was breathtaking, both your words and the picture are a compliment to each other.

Sail on~

Nan, come on this summer she'll be ready to sail.

BluesSerenade, thank you very much.

Bill, she's asleep in Toronto, you can see the CN Tower in the back ground of the pic.
She's been out of the water for a number of years and I just took her over.

I'm still trying to think of a name for her. I hear its bad karma to rename a boat. She's was formally known as Saturn. Somebody else told me since she does not have a name on her that that means its ok to change it. Well I kind like that. She's been sleeping waiting for me, a renewed life and name.

I love this, Parker, the poem and the boat. I think "Saturn" is a very good name for her.........

Perhaps call her Saturn's Song?
She is a beauty, makes me want to set sail, to go beyond the horizon.

Ah, Park! Nice to FINALLY see a new poem
out of you!

And a grand lady she is!

She needs an Irish name, though!

I'd name her Shantiniketan, though I may have that misspelled. It means house or abode of peace. She could be your passionate poetic peace palace.
