Just wrote this for a ninth grade language class. yes, the english language (aint I lucky)! It had to be "my life is like.." using a simile. Happy Reading! My life is like a snowflake First I’m pummeled from a cloud. I’m thin and frail as I fall down endlessly. The delicate beauty I hold Surpasses that which you know. I seem plain, I know, but take a look; You see the colors and the silhouette? Yea, my life is like a snowflake. I keep falling as the wind twists my being. The chill is what I love; its what I know. If the sun comes I’ll dissolve, Then I’ll be that speck of water; The one that makes the flood; You gonna play or curse me? Splash me or wash me out? Yea, cause my life is like a snowflake The cadence in a storm The essence of a beautiful day Yet, the solitude of peace. - And so it was that time stood still - |

I like this GG. Let me know how the teacher likes it, okay? Oh, I'm one that curses the snow (not you, the real snow! because I live in a city that doesn't plow the streets even though they say they do on TV...geesh! That's okay, elections are next year!)  |
