Passivity

Inertia wrought me to this spot.
Its net has caught me in its hold.
A silken thread with Gordian knot
Perhaps because I’m growing old

Inhibition never a threat
Now lies within my fantasy.
It holds me in a timing debt
And sends me qualms of agony.

It does not wake but lets me sleep.
A nothing stay within the gray.
With too much time in nothings reap.
There’s little left to make my way.

It whispers soft of my demise.
Lullabies in sleepy rhymes
And holds me in a hypnotize
That speaks to me of bygone times.

Inertia bland my way today
Ambrosia of the sands slipway

Oh,Seymour...I think not. You have an inner child more active and ageless than anyone I have known. To-morrow is another day. thanks once again for a wonderful read. Chris

JM,
Glad Randy is behaving himself. Put a pan of water above his head and he'll heat it up for you. It's cold down here too but nothing like where you are. Stay well and warm. WWRS

Kelly,
Thank you for the read and reply. Your answers chases away the Inertia.

(sigh) Inertia should be banned from a life and life should be verdictless, I believe carpe diem should be our Song of Solomon and Hakuna Matata our anthem! (big hugggsssssss) This is powerful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank nyou for sharing!

Mayn love and light always shine upon you!

Sy--I have felt a little of this too, it is troublesome and blue.  Your amazing poetry is always new, and lifts my spirits like morning dew.
