Reflections..

Just a young girl
couldn't wait to get out of high school

Mother was tough
five kids, all girls and full of spirit

She remember's holding on to her baby sister, walking to school
  waiting to take her home,
just the two of them now

Mother scared the hell out of the others
  they finally went off
  and got married

reflections...

Soft tiny fingers wrapped into hers
she was everything to her but,
  she didn't know it then

Mother favored the baby
she always felt left out and in the way

She'd be on her own soon and the
world would be easier to deal with

reflections...

She died inside everyday
too sensitive to the world around her

She would hide in her poetry
and there she would lick her wounds

reflections...

Not a great student but,
  her writing got her through

Music, peace, a little pot and beads
seemed like the thing to do

She created her world and lucked out
by not getting sucked in like so many others

Reflections...

Pretty she was, men were never a problem
just too many and too soon

She longed for the tender little hand
that was the guardian of trust

Turn around and it's over
  turn around, it's only time

Round and round till there's
  no more stopping
Just one continous blurr

reflections...

Where did everyone go
haunted now with age setting in

Her mind a pane of glass and she's
not sure which side she is on...

reflections...

Oh boy, can I identify with this one............it's really brilliant in describing life, real life, and I thank you for that!

Thank you for posting that. It reminds me so much of myself. Well, except the part about aging. But I'm willing to let that wait.

(big hugggsssssssss) Oh Electra, this is so very sad but true, sweet friend, how we often digress from ourselves and the inner-vision becoes blinded and obscure and we seem to look in different angles and how our very existence becomes gray! (sad sigh) This is so very heartfelt, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Electra, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

SG, I really enjoyed reading this. I liked the way you wrote it, too....like a story.

Sunnyone, Thank you. I love your "figure". Is this something you created?

Cpat, thanks. I love reading your material.

Eromyna, Thanks for peeking in. I'll be looking for your writing. You reminded me of what an older friend of mine has quoted.
"If youth only knew
and old age could"

Seymour, it's always a treat when you comment. I'm an admirer and a fan of your writing.

Noah, so good to hear from you. Thank you tender heart.

Ethel, thanks this was inspired by Cpat, (he probably doesn't know it).
