am I a man? I feel like something ? not quite grown up look at this card it has my picture it says that I am quite old enough to be a man stopped two teenagers to ask directions to a fishing hole come with us they said we're going there too along the way as we traveled together forgot that I was a man became a teenager for a while laughed and talked about the stuff of teenagers as teenager until I saw myself through the eyes of popular convention thanked them and became a man again felt as if I had been irresponsible and free let me tell you something I must no let me ask you something must I be a man? |

Thisman You must be all those things you have been, I think...a child included. They are what gives you character as well as innocence. Your poem, so simple yet profound. Much enjoyed! |

I liked this. I like a man, no matter age to be able to relax, be silly and fun...let the child come out...at appropriate times...and just play...and laugh.... Enjoyed this. Pat  ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |

Your play on lines/words/breaks allowed for a LOT of interpretation... thank you for that. I enjoy the idea of people/poets allowing poet people to pick and choose as they will... it builds character... |

This is very good. Well said. That to be an adult is more often than not restrictive. Locks you out of things that there really is no good reason to be. Enjoyed this. |
