~True Hero~
Off in the distance,
Were every image is distrought,
A figure stands,
You don't really see him,
Nothing about him strikes you,
No glimmer of gold,
No twinkle of gem,
He stands,
Broadsword,
Shield,
Resting in his hand as the sun rests in the sky,
And his studded leather,
As much a second skin as the crust is to the earth,
With battle hardened features facing up,
As the wind caresses his face,
The only passion he'll ever recieve,
And,
Through countless times,
Through countless evils,
And ages of memories of the sands of time,
Still he stands,
Though forgotten is he to the people of the land,
And only the bards telling faintly of his deeds,
He is the last reminder of a pure warrior,
Setting out to show the world how it could be,
Kind,
Pure,
Curagious for no real reason other then to be,
He will stand against the apposing shadows,
Quelling all evil as he goes,
He is the last,
The Last True Hero.

And the next...

~The Sway~
There you go again,
Swaying that way you do,
Swaying,
As my heart sways its way to my throat,
The only way,
One and one other can make eachother feel,
Hear beat,
Skips a beat,
Deep inside you,
Done by the way,
The sway,
That sway that makes my day,
An eternity of you,
Seeing you sway your way,
Can't say why,
Hope you find,
Or know why,
With one sway,
Sway,
Of our hearts,
We're off,
But not lastly,
We're ending up together,
Swaying,
The way,
You might only sway,
Swaying that way,
On the hearts strings.

Anyways, this is it for a while (Can hear the sighs of reliefe).

Beneath, there is more beneath, but, what is there in the end?  More beneath?  Or something more?

There IS an unwritten rule of sorts, that we don't post more than three poems a day, but rather, spread them out.  However, the site has been here for a few years, so there will be plenty of time for you to come back and share more of your lovely work...

however, there is NO rule against the number of responses you can leave in an hour, let alone in a day!     Happy Reading, and welcome to Passions!

(smiles) Yay! Ah yes, you are clever indeed, yes, keep up posting that lovely poetry, just be sure to post no more than three threads a day, but you can always put more than one poem together in this case! (smiles) I just love how you define the heros heart here, sweet friend, your poetry has us all swaying, go with the flow, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Joel, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Enjoyed!
Made me want keep my sword out
though I'm already a warrior
bloody and scarred...
You've certainly defined courage
love 'em

..."no glimmer of gold, no twinkle of gem"... Yes! That is how it is....

Loved this first poem. You captured my hero. The world's too, for that matter, but little do they know....
smiling here, enjoying your words...
