I feel gratitude
          toward God,

a means
of expressing
my thank you to Him,

for,

my need
of your time,
no matter how
infinitesimally met,

and,

for you giving
     that of which
          you've so little,

as you struggle
     to balance your all.

You satisfy my soul,

and,

fill me with
   a ~kind~ of complete

only ~you~ can provide.

I adore you, so!

.
Precious,

daughter of mine.

Cool poem.. Enjoyed the read.

I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait.

Thanks for reading, Connell.

I spent some quality time with my daughter yesterday; though short, I realized how much I have missed her.
She's been extremely busy and going through some rough times I couldn't help with and I never have enough time here, let alone there, though I would have helped if I could have. Yesterday was somehow very, particularly special and I'm left with one sense of fulfillment only our children can give, no matter how short of a time period,  it was special and an unknown need on my part as well as hers.

Thank you again for reading. Pat

they are work for sure, but they are worth it
the princess and the prince, one doesnt know how to boil water yet, and the other one
cant find  his way out of the piles of clothes and junk in his room, then again, im not exactly a domestic goddess, so thats that.but i love them to death

this is beautiful
Made me smile!
This is something I'm sure every daughter wishes her Mom would write to and about her.

Its amazing how time flies isn't it?
Tomorrow I see my mom, finally, for a Christmas

Much enjoyed!
Always, Alyssa

Ethel, Dixie, Nancylee, Michele,
Martie, Vandana, and Noah....

thanks to all of you for reading and replying. I rarely write of current events, but this just touched my heart and kinda needed to write it. Glad you could all relate...thanks...

GG/Alyssa,

When I went to answer you yesterday on your Walls poem, I was unable to call up PIP with my Regards2You username....from abt. 8:30 Am thr. 9:20, my time. Not sure if others had this problem, but I couldn't get Passions to come up. I used a different user name and search engine and did manage to get PIP...though that name is not registered so couldn't comment to you.....eventually Regards2You began working..strange!!!
Assuming others had the problem, too.
I have problems using this site.
Sporadically, wonder why....

In any event, am glad you are seeing your mom today, tho. don't know your circumstances...I still stand by what I said in Walls...if you E-mailed me, I am sure I'd be tempted to e-mail you...so, instead... 'do' what is in front of you...as ever, your friend and wishing you well, keep writing, no matter what...I do enjoy your poetry and may you soon get the healing and help you need...God bless and hugs...

Pat, this was lovely. You expressed the depth of your love for your daughter so incredibly well. I identify with your sentiments so completely "with regards" to my own daughters. Thank you for the pleasure of reading your words!

Warm hugs,
Linda

Also, am glad to see you back. I need to go rest, but hope you will be posting; if so, I'll get back later today/tonight.

Nicely said, Pat, I'm sure she loves this.

The stars will shine when I am gone,
the earth will turn on as before,
the gulls, still race along the shore,
the morning star, still kiss the dawn
