Sometimes, the promises would linger on the wind To captivate me more than lover's lips And rise me to my feet in trail of whispers Never was I leaving, only going to the prism's ebb A calling of my own to drive in single destination To find the hollow where my heart would rest Sometimes, the wind to softly knock upon my heart's door And to the woods I travel, and to the trees I pray For I will never be apart from what of you shares me Never was I leaving, only going to the prism's ebb Copyright Kkh 1/21/03 |

Ahhhhh.. Nice poem.. I enjoyed the read.. Thankyou for sharing. I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait. |

(big hugggssssssss) I still see the prism light occasionally and I know this feeling of yearning, sweet friend, God Bless You, this is heartfelt, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kathleen, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

gentle touch of the wind as it seems to speak to us in truths we may not have realized before, this was whimsical and enchanting |

Never was I leaving, only going to the prism's ebb A calling of my own to drive in single destination To find the hollow where my heart would rest I will never tire of the comfort that your poetry lends. Thank you for this gem TD~ |

Neat touch of what the breeze can bring...if I may make a suggestion your third stanza might be better with a would rather than to in the first line to give action to the line and replicate the opening line of the poem as well, indirectly..just an idea |
