Just to see you makes me smile, but it hurts at the same time Because I know the feelings that I have will always just be mine. No matter how much I like you, you'll never feel the same And in my mind I get twisted up in this little game. You're a helping hand, a listening ear, A constant challenge making me face my fears; You're a child at heart, a dreamer of dreams, A person looked upon in high esteem's; You have an enchanting smile, a gentle touch, And a twinkle in your eye that I like so much; All this is great, but in the end I'll know we'll remain only as friends.
