I look into your brown eyes and see a 5 year old The innocence we shared the friendship we knew. The marriage proposal and our undying devotion to one another. Then we turned 6. We forgot we knew each other from the other borough cause we lived on different sides of the project Our classes were next door but our faces were forgotten we traveled in different circles and our lives didnt intertwine. Only because i was bold enough to write after 3 decades was I glad to find a friend a confidant to share the day with. Its good to come home to a friend lost and found. Lost, I think not only misplaced. |

I really like this one. From the charming marriage proposal to the meeting up so much later in life. But, like implied, we don't lose friends, only misplace.
