My heart always claims her Savannah
The basin where all life shall thrive
And I stand on the edge of the landscape
Ever vigilant the scenes I derive

My heart claims the green of the best years
Lush in colors washed water on thirst
Drinking in the residual soft tears
Collecting the visions, stripping the worst

My heart claims this sister Savannah
Where I pick to be settled and sane
As the skies change the colors upon her
Toned in ageless, called in beauty by name

Oh, how I loved this! It makes me yearn even more to see this beautiful city. THat is one of the places on my list to visit
