What romance
Is there is eating alone
Or walking strange streets
Now matter how charming
If no one shares the sights?

I would not feel this
If I could but navigate
All the shallow depths
Without finding shoals
To hull myself

My draft is to deep
Keel designed for wave
That I might not lean
One sided too
Or capsize
When wind
Blows

Still I see charm
Turned to commerce
And try to
chart new
forgetting that too much
of all I have ever done
has been done
just to go from
harbor to next

Do not think
Do not draw
Do not feel

And I might be barged
From this bend
To next

Kiss me
I am alone

Movement without destination, poetry without inspiration...
I don't know, maybe it's just me.

Still I see charm
turned to commerce...

Aye, Cap'n...
and there's the rub...

when the magic
turns green
it's all lost...

Another E for you, m'friend...

Perhaps you should allow yourself to be capsized once in a while,
just let yourself fall

in

love.

(big huggsssssssss) Love is the gravitational pull that keeps the boat upright indeed, dearest friend, to lean too far starboard side is never real love if its modest or unfaithful! (sigh) I send angel hugs out to you, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ron, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Loved the analogies. Great poem.

This character has a lot of confidence if just one kiss would do it....

and, I'll bet it would...

Liked all the replies, but if you take them up you are already becoming a tad promiscuous.....

How about a hug?
