Coco Channeled… Going back some 15 decades Reading letters of the past Someone rang my e-mail button Ecstatic, a call at last! Here it was a thank you For a passing thought in time Pleased to see a friend return And read her heartfelt rhymes So while I was perusing the past The thought had come to me Someone had spent great time Recording all this history… And who is going to claim e-mail, And log the thoughts unfurled As the e-mails whisk about earth Covering the entire world? Who will sit and record the thoughts Of great hearts and cerebral minds Unraveling the bits and bytes O’er the onslaught of hurried time? Or will machines begin to chirp And write among themselves?
