Lately

Lately I catch myself dreaming
Of moments I've spent with you
You always look so kind
And in your eyes I could always tell
That you we're the answer to my prayers

Lately I catch myself smiling
My lips curving in a wide grin
But afterwards I started to think
How foolish I've been hiding my feelings
and my caring

Lately teardrops can't stop falling
My heart just keep on aching
Because you and I just can't never be
The close friend I used to dream and see.

Sometimes Love is like awkward poetry, the words may not be just right
but when love comes freely from the heart the message sings!

But friends are forever - Perhaps that's how it was intended to be... Sometimes we just simply have to enjoy what we have for what it is - and sometimes it's even better...Nice introspective words...
