i sit among them in the spring, along the fields of wishing flowers, that run rampantly thru newborn green, going unnoticed, wishes never made, unspoken thoughts, words that do not come, not picked, not chosen, while we wait for someone, to see who we are and find the gifts we offer |

..."along the fields of wishing flowers..." I like that line a lot....I find more than one meaning here, different from your title. Couple reads, and I find this quite deep. Enjoy a great deal. Hugs and warm regards, Pat ![]() ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |

dreamy, filled with longing..sometimes we are found when we least expect it--enjoyed! "And it was at that age...Poetry arrived in search of me...And something started in my soul." |

Waiting and wanting. It does seem that very few people can see. You expressed the desire to be seen and appreciated well. |

well, this is just awesome, in the fact of how many people can relate to those flowers, the wishing, the needing to be seen and appreciated...along with the wording that painted the picture here, this is wonderful! |

I think simply "unseen flowers" is a wonderful title. The "...or poor pitiful me" is not a part of the picture for me. Any one who could write a poem of this quality and depth, is not pitiful! This is a person who should be admired for their talent as a writer! warm hugs, Linda |

thanks, and not everyone sees the gift, but when i thought about it a little more, i realized sometimes, we are afraid to show the gifts also, and sometimes some are just not deserving of them...... thanks again |

cool. i think i get it, sometimes the abundance of images fade the meaning of poetry. but i think you balanced it well. i like it. **** [out of five, that is]. -chris. |

thank you e.angle, i think its partially out of my complex, like walking a line between being human and wearing a hard shell, its like if i act weepy about feeling blue, someone tells you to snap out of it, like we are not entitled to dwell in our blueness from time to time, i dont know if this makes sense, my kids are annoying me right now |

interesting. perhaps the most lovely and horrible thing about reading the writings of others is that it is up to the reader to determine meaning. ::sniffle:: oh bother. |
