The confusion has settled in
and the sadness has won,
each breath taken is like
a stab deeper in my heart.

I thought the well had run dry
but the tears still flow in steady stream.

and I remember, we shared the same dream...

The images are fading
and the dreams have turned to dust...
all that is left remaining
are the ashes of what
once was         us........

I know that you can 'read' me
but can you  'hear'  "me"?

Oh Donna, I'm sad that you are sad. I sincerely pray that things
will be better for you soon, so that you can once again see your
dreams.

Ms Spirit I had to read this one, even if it did hurt to read the ending - the scary prospect of being reduced to dust.

Makes it even harder, I know.  I really enjoyed the style of this Donna.

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Donna, this is so very heartbreaking, I hope this doesn't apply to you just as this pain is applying to me and is just fictional, I send angel hugs your way! (sad sigh) This is heartfelt, sweet friend, we all love you so much, also know I haven't forgotten about our duet and I just have not been communicating with you because I feel too low to write upbeat right now but I have a note beside my Shakira concert tickets on my bulletin board to write with you when I feel rejuvenated, yay! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Donna, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Donna! What a tear-jerker! I'm sorry, I'm knowing what you're feeling...you are not alone at all.

powerfully well done exposé of sadness, loss

You know I loved Richard's response - how true, and to waste time almost mourning is time wasted as each second is only felt once.  What a loss, his!  And as for you - well, you will indeed be stronger, wiser, and more beautiful from this lesson.  Hugs dear lady - you are not alone in this as you can see.
