And So It Goes The world was spinning Wild was the wind and the snow came And she waited and she watched Dark was the night Stars exploding into the black And she counted hoping to catch a wish When the sun came It blew to the earth wisps of warmth She wrapped her arms around herself breathing in peace of mind The morning was slient as squirrels skipped over the frozen ground And she waited and she watched.. c2003SimplyGold |

I thoroughly enjoyed this poem, very beautiful. The mood is so peaceful...almost as though a fresh snow had fallen upon a new morn...outside beyond the window... |

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Electra, I am so glad you're back, sweet friend, I have missed you so much as this turbulent piece enthralled me hoping I can catch a star and make my dreas come true in the maelstrom I am in! (sad sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Electra, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! I sit here watching my hungry little squirrel invading my birdfeeder... Picturing Lyra doing the same at her window... Lovely words, Electra... |
