Too many years wasted on one thought. The happiness I thought you brought. Into my life for so long a time. To let you leave I thought was a crime. You stabbed me till I let go. I thought you'd change now I know. I couldn't make you love only me. After you removed the knife I let you leave. All the years I thought were wasted, Are in the back of my mind with the pain I tasted. Had to let you go or slowly continue dieing. Now I spend nights alone crying. Too many years wasted on one thought. The happiness I thought you brought. Into my life for so long a time. To let you leave I thought was a crime. |
