HEART When the world comes crashing down, and there's no where to turn. When your heart begins to crumble, and the tears start to burn. You ask why you let it happen? When your love goes unreturned. What a foolish thing to do. When will you ever learn? When you feel that ache, burning in your soul. And the nights are long, and you have no one to hold. Then you'll know I tried to warn you. Right from the very start. Now I'm suffering with you, you wouldn't listen to your heart. There will never be a next time. You've learned your lesson well. I know you love him deeply, But I (your heart) will never tell! * That which gives light, must endure burning * |

Thanks for sharing Kitty. I am a sucker for any love related poem - a hopeless romantic. I always ignore the warnings of my heart - maybe someday I will learn. "The only gift is a portion of thyself" - Ralph Waldo Emerson |
