In the dark the secret grows Still to fragile to let much show The touch of you in whispered night The glow of warmth before daylight The sun does steel you away And for this joy any price I’d pay The sent of skin so sweet and close Careful hart not to boast Such perfect stillness as dawn draws near Daring again not to fear Quiet now the little secret inside But till its broken it will hide I am not always lonely even if I am always alone |
