Best Friends Story Ends

umm, just another old poem i wrote a while back....this one needs more work than the first i'd say, but i figured i'd give it a shot anyway.

-Best Friends Story Ends-

I think about her all the time
Infact shes all thats on my mind

I want us to atleast stay friends
but this pain i feel just will not end

I havent said the nicest things
lately my hatred has just had wings

I never saw the end as it neared
losing my friend i never feared

my heart belonged to my new best friend
now her heart belongs to him

Perhaps our love should have waited
but i feared it would become outdated

He stole her heart from under my nose
and just like that, off she goes

I have already lost my new best friend
The story just begun, and now, the end

Dont cry because its over....smile because it happened

It's funny how that seems to happen when it's so obvious but you don't really notice.
Nice write. I hope to hear more and I look forward to posting more compliments to more of your great work.

matt the story continues/life goes on/ the hearts potential to love again will reborn wiser and stronger/ your poem touched a spot in my past/ but i was the girl stole away right from under his nose
