Friday Night at Harry's Bar

I'm listening to the music of the Monkeys, Neil Diamond, Sweet Baby James,
The Turtles, Donovan, the Beatles, the Everly Brothers and the Cars.

The group is called Triage and they're playing
at the Waikiki Hyatt Regency on the stage
in the courtyard by Harry's Bar.

They must not be aware that music of the 60's and the 70's is over and done.
And yet they seem to be having lots of fun.

Believe I'll get another beer and relax and enjoy
the music and the view.
There's lots of nice Japanese women enjoying
drinks and songs and maybe I'll meet a few.

My Waitress is Paz.  A beautiful local Spanish/Filipino girl.
Alright so I've had more than one beer
but this is the only way I know to keep
Paz near.  Honest I don't drink that much.
I'll switch to green tea if Paz kisses me.

sooooo, did you switch to the green tea?

The stars will shine when I am gone,
the earth will turn on as before,
the gulls, still race along the shore,
the morning star, still kiss the dawn

James, I'm glad to see that you're getting out. And, I love music, all kinds...almost.

(sigh) I don't drink and never will but I'd love to go with you for a green tea with ginseng, sweet friend, you always make each moment seem real in your words, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet James, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
