The words flow in crimson red Touch you the reader somewhere deep inside Blood instead of ink, the soul onto paper bled Brings about all the emotions you tried so hard to hide As you read the words before you You feel the pain between the pen and paper Discovering what you've kept hidden from view The poet, wrote your soul down word for word Seems he discovered your secret caper Quietly you cry as you read Feel the blood rushing through your veins Silently you watch him bleed He dies before your eyes, yet his meaning with you remains You transcend the words to feelings From within the poet's heart they've come Entrenched themselves into the essence of your very being Never to be forgotten, though you never knew They came from a poet's heart...from the start...all were written BY YOU! I have to admit, you are right. It is the passing of that emotion on to other readers that is the writer's greatest feat! |

I like that, i could sorta connect with the feelings, although i had a little bit of a hard time making it from line to line, nothing to interfere with the poem as a whole |

I adore letting the essence flow and the response of some that are touched deeply in some way by somethi8ng I write. It is an addicition and it is only when the muse is silent and the ink all used that I hate...I wish she would write again soon, I am surely disraught right now... But I really sis like the message of this and your depth of soul that you expose. Thanks! hugs, Cher Poetry is: |
