The Sun won’t shine, the Moon won’t glow, The world just wails in anguish, The clouds blanket with deep shadow, Hope starts slowly to vanish, The Sun won’t shine, the Moon won’t glow, Now comes the Rage of Darkness. He rescues her, she rescues him, And both fall to the coming shadow, There was glad, a remembered when, Now the fields have gone to fallow, No planted spring, no harvest Autumn, Swords have reaped what the fields might grow. The Sun won’t shine, the Moon won’t glow, She beg for his knife to sheath; In the ever night the day won’t know As all the people lose their belief There might never be a tomorrow, And the world will fall in endless grief. He consumes her, she consumes him, In passions that turn to sorrow, They lay in life that might soon end, Will there be one more tomorrow, The Rage of Darkness and all things blend, Nothing is left but shifting shadow. Gloom Lyrics for Morbid Mange |
