"Oh, My Beautiful Luna" How lonely your life must be sitting up there in that window each night Always there to shine down your loving light upon my weary shoulders Never wavering or faltering in your presence just above the treetops outside my window sill Countless hours I have sat in wonder and utter awe at the curves of your body And traced my fingers downs the tracks of scars that Father Time has put upon your face Out there all alone with only a few visitors in all your many mellinia of existence But you bring warmth and a sense of belonging to this all too often lonely soul Oh, my beautiful Luna, so far away yet, so very close to my heart I'm somewhere in between what is real and just a dream - Lifehouse |

Jeffrey, this is beautiful, but so sad...such a wistful feel to it. I liked it a lot... "Love makes the world go around" ~~with love and hugs from Ethel~~ [This message has been edited by garysgirl (01-02-2003 11:20 PM).] |

this is somewhat bitter-sweet ..it is quite beautiful, yet lonely. I like it alot though. A good write. Always, Alyssa - And so it was that time stood still - |

I adored this Jeff... one for my library for sure! The soul would have no rainbows, had the eyes no tears. |

hi. One for my library too. I loved your poem, it was sad and beautiful. The luna is enchanting!!!! A lot of stories of what happens on a full moon. Hugs, Red |
