Lost in the clouds without you Lost in the sky without you I shine like diamonds in the sky Come summer I'm over, down and under Come October's eyes over New America's Eyes, I give a show. My sword in place Diana's arrow misplaced From Apollo's jealousy Your tender reality jogged The starry-eyed romance now a fog But I can't help but think of you as I decend from the sky come true When stars fall from my wounded heart Burning bright as a thousand burning sword On an early October Morn |

"The starry-eyed romance now a fog ... But I can't help but think of you" Ain't it true? Love holds us so captive. I must confess a bit of confusion, though... *blush* Especially concerning this verse: "My sword in place Diana's arrow misplaced From Apollo's jealousy Your tender reality jogged" The poem sounds really good, and I do catch the basic gist, but I feel as though I'm missing something here. |

Amara, ya sorry about that. This poem has interlaced themes in it, mainly what you feel missing concerns the myth behind the constellation Orion. Apollo was Diana (goddess of archery)'s bro and he tricked her into shooting something swimming way out in the ocean. It was of course Orion and she killed her love by accident so zeus placed him up in the sky for all eternity. So there ya go |

OOOH! IT MAKES SO MUCH MORE SENSE!! Now I like the poem even more! Honestly! Light keep you always, Amara To see something as an end is to mourn for it; to see it as a beginning is to have hope. |
