The tree's aglow with glitter and lights Presents are wrapped ~ bows tied just right Children are sleeping with dreams in their heads Of a jolly old elf dressed neatly in red New fallen snow blankets the ground As holiday spirit and good tidings abound Family and friends arrive from afar To gather 'round a warm winter's hearth With joy and love in loud voices we sing To celebrate the birth of our King |

Impeccable rhyme, rhythm and imaging in this one, save for the last line...it seems, unless it's my reading of it, that a 3 syllable word is needed before "King," such as wonderful or glorious. What do you think, Owner of the decision? Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

(big hugggsssssss) As much as I believe we should hold onto these traditions as well, I wish all our children knew what the true meaning of Christmas is and not think of it is all capitalistic! (sad sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is wonderful, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Edder thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton I don't need no proof when it comes to God and truth |

VAS- it works better for me this way, but that may be because I read with a "southern drawl". Star T- That does seem to be the case. Thank you for the read and comment. Noah- Thank you, you always have a kind word. Terri- Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed. |
