A lonely day
covered in gray.
No light,
a breeze with a bite.

Comfort lying
between my thoughts,
the morning – linger.
A sorrow heart.

Noting the hours -
with no songs, so long.
Waiting the next day,
when the pain will be gone.

She touched my sight,
and now I could see.
This subtle figure,
of light with me.

She then held my hand,
for a moment or so.
Gracing my fears –
With a loving hallow.

No more will I sigh,
when the days want to cry.
I’ll remember her by
that loving gift -
Our own light inside.

If nothing is something
then everything is
our thoughts and feelings
and all that exists.
