There Is No Water In Hell
~*Marge Tindal*~

Repent ye non-believers
or you will come to dwell
where there is no water flowing
in the fire and brimstone lakes of Hell

Let ye who doubt His admonitions
read this passage well
Revelations 21:8
There is no water in Hell !

Rev 21:8 "But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."

~*When the heart grieves over what it has lost,
the spirit rejoices over what it has left.

I got an unexpected smile from this one as well.

I recall a song my grandmother used to sing in Cajun French, about the founding of Paradise, La.

Indeed, if what you say is true, it is more aptly named than I ever suspected.

Enjoyed.

Dear Marge:  This one should scare people into doing the right thing! I've lived in a place without water and it is Hell! (Nevada desert)

A place in which the outer and inner thirst shall never be quenched.  A wonderful write, that sadly too many don't take heed in.

My goodness my sweet Marge, this is not your style but timely.  We have many of us been lacking for water lately.  It inspired my poem I am posting.  Love, Joyce

I was once asked to write a story about someone who arrived in Heaven and no one thought he/she would be accepted. I wrote about Al Capone. I believe God is all forgiving. HE judges others as we should not.

Amen, people so often think of Hell as a joke saying its where their friends will be or whatever.. but people don't think about the isolation, desolation, guilt, sorrow,  and exhaustion. In Hell people will realise the greatness of God and realise they should have repented and will spend forever.. in actual flames, screaming and sweating, wanting just one drop of water.
Sure glad I'm going to heaven!

Always, Alyssa

But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is king to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. Luke 6: 35-36 (NIV)
