Please don't think I'm weird... ********************************* I was walking up the stairs slowly in the dark of night and there flowing for a matter of seconds I saw her long white dress. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the white figure of my Aunt watching me as I walked up the stairs to a night's rest. I said to myself "Boy, I am crazy." But as I heard, my mom saw her and my uncle and a cousing heard her. I was walking up the stairs, slowly in the dark or night and there, on the stairs I smiled and said everything's gonna be alright. *************************************** This is my first time posting anything here, I hope it goes along with all the characteristics of this section of PIP...Thank you. WindSong, I find this very interesting and I do feel that a blessing does involve this type of experience. Tell me, what was your first thought? At times I feel like they are praying for us as much as we are praying for them. Nice read. mysticpoe |

My first thought? Well...It was to run upstairs and jump in bed or run down the stairs to make sure the front door was locked. I didn't know what to do or what to say...It was late and and I thought it was just my eyes but when I talked to my mom about it, almost the same thing happened to her. IT was a little freaky, but I'm much easy going about her passing away. I miss her, but at least now I know she's here. Your first feelings were of comfort. knowing that within the realm of the universe, our souls never die. She now is more privy than we are and she has the ability to comfort your feelings about her moving to that next realm. Which only can come from love when initial feelings were one of comfort and peacefulness. Now that visual contact has been made. More feelings will allow you to understand beyond the height of reason. This is a blessing and love is involved. Thank you for sharing. mysticpoe |

Wind Song: What an intriguing poem! I lived in a "haunted" house for 5 years. We had no explanation other than that, for all the strange happenings. My husband and I never saw the "haunt" but our young daughter did. An elderly man had died in the house, in the room next to hers and she saw him many times. We didn't know about that, until we had lived there several months and when I was trying to find the history of the house, I discovered what had happened. Apparently, he never really left. Really? That's cool. Actually, something like that happened at my Godson's house. They have a ghost on the stairs. Lol. He doesn't like the father but he loves the baby and the mother. But, if they move something off the walls, he drops it and he gets mad and walks up and down the stairs...It's crazy. Peace! I'm 17 and I was freakin out b/c I had no clue what to think or say. I mean like I didn't want my mom thinking I was crazy but it happened to her too. She was lying in bed and near the window she saw the white figure walk back fourth a whole like 2 feet. And my uncle, him too saw the white figure and yeah...It's just odd. But I'm alright with it now. That is an awesome experience to write about! I don't think you're crazy at all because I've had some like that as well. The only thing I would change about the poem is that at the end of the 3rd verse "cousing" should be "cousin." Anyway, well done!  ~Elizabeth Dreams last for so long, even after you're gone... |
