GOD NEVER TOOK AWAY THE DANCE They said all worldly gyrations In your walk would give you hesitation Far too sensual in the movement Meant for sinning heathen allurement While only seldom spoken verbally But caught through what they didn’t say Behave yourself in a dignified manner Contain the Life or principles scatter They repress the Spirit’s beckon to move The body to express that God is good To rejoice in the day that He has given At the end of which we have truly liven Glorify the Lord in your mortal body He never took away the dance Can you conceive at the Supper of the Lamb Jesus to the wall as a wall flower will stand Sense His movement among us now Why Fred Astaire would need come bow James Brown does not have a clue The steps that God would do with you Take Him up on the offer of romance Tho’ the dignified may smugly disdain it No, God never took away the dance It is for you and for me that He gave it Would you like to dance with Me? |

Oh this is wonderful! No surely God never took away the Dance. To dance is like praying with our whole body and mind. Yes I will gladly dance with you! This is so inspiring! I think I'll write another poem about dancing.... Come, let's dance for the glory of God. Oh now tears .... remembering a dream .... Let us express harmony and beauty!
