Seeking Answers Listening to a TV talk show Could almost break your heart. The hostess has no answers; She knows not where to start. Some had unhappy childhoods They cannot get beyond. The hostess gives advice but doesn't Quite fit the hat she's donned. She tries to fix their problems, but There's something she should know. They'll never find the answer on Another TV show Mother can't get through to daughter, Father shut out by his son; Need to take a few steps backward Before woes had begun. When they were smaller, Parents, Before wrong paths they'd trod; You should have patiently explained, Their relationship to God. Did you leave it up to others To teach them right from wrong? Go home and get down on your knees And take your child along. Only God has the full answer. Be sure you tune Him in. Putting God in the equation Is smart way to begin. By: Joyce 4/23/03 |

Amen Joyce - I cannot say how I will be when I have children, but I hope that I will realize that It is my responsibility to bring them to God. I agree so many people think just talking about problems will solve them, and that they don't seem to really care about finding answers. God bless you Joyce I can always count on your poetry to touch me.. Thanks - Tim He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered. Proverbs 28:26 |

Amen to that, and if they would concentrate more on building faith within the family and children, a lot of these problems would not be the topics on talk shows Enjoyed this Joyce. |

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Joyce, this is so very sad but true, sweet friend, I think many take for granted Him when raising their children and we need to center our lives around Him or otherwise there is no sense of wonder or grace encircling us! (sad sigh) I pray sometime in the future the shows can feature stories of happy children enamored to the grace of Him, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Joyce, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton And that's the most wonderful thing about creating. It will always be a mystery. |

Hi Joyce, I see you wrote this out of frustration and a need to convey the remedy. Very nice write on a subject so common. God does touch all of us. We all feel this and need to come to terms and touch him back. Lost is temporary and suggestion never ceases. mysticpoe |

AMEN!!! A Big amen and applause for this one. I totally agree with you. If only they knew the Saviour and could teach it to their children. Life is so much easier when you have God in your life. Awesome poem! Jesus lives in my heart! |
