How do I leave you behind? I hear Jesus calling me to cross that line, but I'm not ready. How can I tell you goodbye It hurts to know you'll be alone When He takes me home. I'm trying to hold on, but it's hard. It's just too painful, Knowing you and I will be apart And I'm so sorry, Love, you shouldn't have to face this World without me by your side I wish we had more time Then I see Glory Right in front of me I see the arms of my Savior Reaching out to welcome me And all the pain and sorrow Of this life are gone Finally I'm free And I know one day you, Darling, you'll see Glory too There's so many things I want for you I hope your life is long, Your faith is strong, Your trials are few And please remember that Even though I'm going now You'll see me once again, So this is not the end Then I see Glory Right in front of me I see the arms of my Savior Reaching out to welcome me And all the pain And sorrow of this life are gone, Finally I'm free And I know one day you, Darling, you'll see Glory too Promise me after I'm gone You'll find the strength to carry on Bring the grief that you are feeling, Unto Jesus, there is healing And, when it's your time To leave this world and Meet Him face to face, To rest in God's eternal grace Then you'll see Glory Right in front of you You'll see the arms of your Savior Reaching out to welcome you When all the pain and sorrow Of this life are gone You'll finally be free On that day we will be Together in His Glory One day you and I will be Forever in His Glory |
