Unlike Moses, we should live… with unveiled faces, letting the Light of our Faith shine; as His Children, we’re getting favor among men; with clear eyes, smiles and a bright disposition, our efforts will be pleasing unto The Lord, as we honor His position as King of kings; He divinely rules and reigns in our lives and hearts. His holy promises remain steadfast and His Holy Spirit will never depart from us; as His human candles, our unveiled faces pierce the darkness, wherever our journey takes us; therefore, let us shine… with His righteousness. so we should light a candle and let it shine to all,not hide beneath it. Your poem aptly describes it as unveiling our faces. |

I remember reading through Piercing the Darkness and putting it down at some point. The "demons swirling around a small town" framework is used in several TV shows I can think of, not to mention the book. Something I noticed: they all tend to drop into exactly what you're writing about here. I'm not an expert of course, but I think "human candles" has a nice ring to it. |
