Stand Still by Radrook Stand still! Behold the saving of the Lord! His mighty arm will never be too weak! Be not afraid of spear or flashing sword! He is the great protector of the meek Stand still and let almighty be your shield! Though thousands may collapse at every side You will remain victorious in the field. It is your enemy who'll surely die. There is no need to raise a fearful arm Jehovah is a mighty man of war. No need for you to feel dread or alarm Protection comes from Him whom you adore. Stand still! Behold his armies on the hills. His angels that ride chariots of fire. Have come to carry out his righteous will And all his enemies in fear retire. The thunder of retreat is not your own. The shouts of panic are the enemy's. The ones who thought you surely stood alone These are the ones who from the battle flee. Stand still! Behold the victory of God. Let his salvation all creation laud! |
