That Day When that predicted dusk darkens the day and interrupts our thoughtless wars and frays Will we defy our God as light goes under? Or will our atheism dissipate? When that infernal night begins its plunder divesting earth of all its sunlit wonder, Will fatalistic hubris seal our fate? Or will our Godlessness begin to founder? When rapidly our sunlight dissipates And godless sun refuses to give fusion Will we reject the fact? Embrace the faith? Or will we still insist on mere delusion? Will mouths remain agape in horrid fright? Or will they seek the Father of the light? |
