Christian Harvest

Daily life is like a painting,
every picture has its say;
stored together for the showing,
brought to life on judgment day.

Hope is mixed with every color,
mixed with love and tender care.
Every deed is shown in motion,
every smile and every prayer.

Evening mist is highly favored,
showing Grace from God above;
It's His way to show His blessing,
to His Son that shares His love.

Painting daily takes an effort,
keeping colors blended lit;
If mistakes are sometimes handy,
Jesus loves to make them right.

Brush the strokes with lightened shadows,
cast of gold to darkened brown;
Smiles of light with happy colors,
dimming to a cheerful frown.

Told of riches beyond reason,
happy now you're soon to be;
Open now your eyes for glory,
open wide for all to see.

Relax, enjoy and rest your spirit,
reap the harvest you have grown;
Now's the time to count your blessings,
now you meet the love you've sown.

What a great analogy! Daily painting our life stories, is a new way to relate and account for our actions and thoughts.
