Mt. Anderson ‘Seems I’ve surely made a mountain Out of the molehills in my life. Too many shortcuts to be countin’ Leading to this valley of strife. The house I built my life upon Buried, behind me in the sand. Do I challenge the horizon? Or let the mountain’s merit stand. I always thought I had a good heart, But stopping now to take the measure; Focus on heaven never played part ‘Gainst my mountain of earthly treasure. Now I cry out to be forgiven, The past clinging to me like a wraith. I take my stand in shadow, riven, With but a mustard seed of faith. The miracle, mine for believing, A mountain removed to the sea. The gift I’m forever receiving, A life God predestined for me. Now angels in heaven rejoice As a lost sinner’s saved by grace, And the horizon confirms my choice With the Son’s warmth on my face. Michael Anderson |

I always thought I had a good heart, I've read this beautiful testimony several times and keep coming back to this line. How differently we see things once we change our hearts from good to God's! This is truly a blessing to read! |
