The Breath of Life My soul is DNA from God, Who breathed life into me. I cannot see nor touch it, But I know that it is there. Its the essence of my being, My immortality Enclosed in mortal body that I wear. Each day I must cherish my soul With thanks to God above, For sharing of Himself with me That I might live forever. As my soul is nourished with Good deeds and selfless love, It's certain proof that God exists And will forsake me never. Joyce 2/25/09 |
