Seamless -

the September blue
beyond the seawall
a sense of suffocation
not able to tell
where the water ends
and air begins
yet
drawn

deeper
and deeper
into the mystery

of it all in a willingness
to surrender breath
to feel the miracle

that was the Second Day.
