Sunshine; like a memory
warm, calm and serene
but what of when the heat comes in
and pulls the seeds of sin within
to the surface of the vine?

Thoughts are but whispers
and memories deceive
for if dreams can come true
how is reality perceived?
With each reality remembered,
and different truth conceived

When seeds of sin begin to bloom
what lies therein is sweet perfume
It matters not choose you pluck from its vine
so long as you come to terms and learn
from the bittersweet wine.

learning from our mistakes may be the hard way to go about it--it is much better to learn from anothers mistakes and not have the bitter aftertaste of sin, foul our lives!
