A vision from the Oracle set this wheel to turn The Mystery woman spoke through her, though glory she'll not earn She'll carry the burden of doubt with her, even by those who know The day will come when all shall see, she started the fire to show The words that make the story real, for every one to see With the twinkling of her eye, she showed a new world to me The world will see her madness, accept her gifts they won't She'll cast pearls to swine, time after time, even when they beg her 'please don't'! She was the one who first brought the Muse, the one who gave me the gift The Eagle that flew, up above all day through, was the sign of the message she left. |
