13 years Still missing you With each memory Good thoughts of you Survive Lasting forever Like a lasting melody I wonder sometimes How things would be If you were still here I picture you With a lovely wife Perhaps a baby or two Sitting on your knee You singing "Horsey Horsey" Went to town Look at Horsey Horsey fall down. Just like long ago I did with you. Your children laughing With glee Loving you Just as much As you loved me Those happy times When you were small I remember them all Those funny things That happened That made me smile You were my little man You grew quickly Then just as you Were leaving home You told us “see you soon” Your good bye Took you across the great divide Into the arms of Abraham’s bosom To live with Jesus As I approach my time to go I will have no fear For you and Jesus will meet me Upon the other side I will know you at the very first glance For your face is still Engraved upon my mind and heart Your voice still calls out for me Soon our tears will be tears of joy Just like the tears I cried when you were born Those happy tears that happen When you are so filled with joy The overflowing joy That can’t be contained That’s what I’m looking forward to Dedicated to my son who passed away 13 years ago today the age of 18. |

Was it 13 years or 13 seconds or 13 milliseconds? I understand. It's been ten years or milliseconds for us. Knowledge is a defense and money is a defense, but the excellency of wisdom is that it gives life to them that have it. |

Very touching to a mother who has felt your pain. It was 8 years ago for me but he was allowed to grow up and live life as a wonderful adult before leaving us.It could have been yesterday. My love to you Songbird. Your poetry says it well. Love, Joyce |

Dear sweet friend Marcia; I love you so and I feel your pain I see it it your eyes and I am thankful to know you in such a spiritual way because of you I am safe. Your more than a friend to me, your the yang of my yen and I'm the Yen of your yang. I pray on this day and forever more your heart can better endure the pain of this heartbreak and continue to write such lovely poetry. I love you, Kimberly |
